Benefits of TC Series Water Conditioning Systems

1. Function
Effectively softens, conditions, and filters your water by removing calcium and magnesium—the primary minerals responsible for hard water.
2. Performance
Equipped with a self-cleaning control valve for consistent, long-term performance. The system is designed for high flow rates, ensuring a steady and reliable supply of softened water without compromising water pressure. A durable, self-lubricating 75 in-lb drive motor enhances reliability.
3. Efficiency
Operates using a low-voltage, energy-efficient 24-volt electrical system to help reduce energy consumption.
4. Built-In Protection
Includes an exclusive brine valve float system to minimize the risk of overflow. Automatic bypass during regeneration ensures uninterrupted water access. The system’s tank-within-a-tank design provides added protection, and a built-in battery backup safeguards critical settings during power outages.
5. Proven Reliability
Backed by RainSoft Great Lakes Water Treatment’s limited lifetime warranty for added peace of mind.
How a TC Series Water Conditioning System Works
Step 1
Water enters the durable, proprietary control valve developed by RainSoft Great Lakes Water Treatment and flows into the resin tank.
Step 2
As water moves through the tank, it passes through a specialized ion exchange resin. During this process, hardness minerals—such as calcium and magnesium—are captured and held within the resin.
Step 3
Once softened and conditioned, the treated water flows up through the riser pipe and exits the system through the control valve.
Step 4
At scheduled intervals, the system automatically initiates a regeneration cycle. During this process, a salt-based solution flushes the collected hardness minerals from the resin and sends them to the drain. The unit then resets, ready for the next water conditioning cycle.

We recently had a system installed, and had a great experience working with Great Lakes Water Treatment. The 3 biggest positives: 1) Health: the taste and convenience of the filtered water system has translated into us drinking much more water than we were before 2) Hair: the softened water is much nicer for hair texture and 3) Great install experience: Dom did a great job getting the system set up in a nice, compact way. Thank you!
Absolutely fantastic service and product! Every step of the way, the install and information was first rate. My tap water no longer smells like a swimming pool, and I can drink the Reverse Osmosis without a care. Also, the detergent free washing machine unit is a marvel! I was skeptical, but it's better than advertised. Thanks so much!
