How the EC5 System Works
Step 1: Water enters the EC5’s robust control valve and flows through the ion exchange resin bed, where hardness minerals like calcium and magnesium are removed.
Step 2: Conditioned water exits the tank and is distributed throughout your home.
Step 3: At preset, metered intervals, the system initiates regeneration during off-peak hours. Using a salt-based solution*, the accumulated hardness minerals are flushed out and the system resets for the next cycle.
